The Friends of Indian Creek advocates for climbers and climbing access in the entirety of the greater Canyonlands—from trad to bouldering, we support it all! “The Creek,” Big Bend, Arches/Canyonlands or Wall Street—we are keeping tabs on it all. We are a user-group donation-funded organization. 100% of our donations are allocated for climbing access-related advocacy.
Current events snapshot:
-Check out our new board members, as of spring 2022.
-We are striving to spread our outreach programs from Moab, the Front Range, Durango and the Roaring Fork Valley to the Western Slope, Telluride and Ouray/Ridgway.
-There are seasonal raptor closures every year at Indian Creek—typically at the Cat Wall to the Res wall—and in Moab in Arches N.P., near the Fun Ramp, at the Gossips, the Penguins and many other popular zones. Please respect these and avoid these areas (February through Sept. 1) if in doubt.
-All archival materials have been transferred from the old site to this site.
